Apply for 217 positions by November 6

Indian Navy has announced an open recruitment for Short Service Commission (SSC) Officer Posts. Those who are eligible can apply online through the official website of Navy joinindiannavy.gov.in. The registration period will last from October 21 to November 6.

A total of 217 posts of Short Service Commission officers will be filled in this recruitment. However, the number of vacancies may vary depending on the availability of training places. Applications for selected candidates are scheduled to begin in June 2023. All positions are open to both single men and women.

Naval Air Operations Officer: 15 posts

Indian Navy SSC Recruitment: Eligibility

age- Candidates born between January 2, 1998 and July 1, 2003 are eligible to apply

education-

The candidate must have a minimum of 60 per cent marks in English in class 10 or 12 and one of the following educational qualifications with a minimum of 60 per cent aggregate marks in one or a combination of the following options:

(a) MSc / BE / B Tech / M Tech (Computer Science / Computer Science & Engineering / Computer Engineering / Information Technology / Software Systems / Cyber ​​Security / System Administration & Network / Computer Systems & Networking / Data Analytics / Artificial Intelligence) , or
(B) MCA with BCA / BA (Computer Science / Information Technology).

Indian Navy SSC Recruitment: Selection Process

Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their normalized marks in their qualifying degree. The candidate’s qualifying degree marks will be normalized using the formulas given in the Join Indian Navy website URL. Candidates can find more information on the official website of Indian Navy.

On the occasion of Navy Day, the Indian Navy conducted an educational tour for school children on its warships in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday. In Visakhapatnam, 1,714 students and 198 teachers visited the warship INS Airavat, an amphibious assault ship of the Eastern Fleet. They were presented with an overview of the Indian Navy.
