Now that the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2022 results are out, the next step is to get a seat. For this, candidates will have to register with the universities they want to enroll in. The universities will then publish the merit lists and shortlist the candidates who will have to reserve their seats.
While most of the participating universities have announced the counseling process, BHU, AMU, JNU and Sri Lal Bahadur Shastri National Sanskrit University are yet to announce the admission process. Let’s check the application and admission dates for the rest of the universities:
Jamia Millia Islamia: The university will share its first merit list for admission to 10 undergraduate courses based on CUET-UG scores on September 26. Students will be able to take their seats from September 29 to October 1. The second merit list will be announced on October 6, against which admission will be held from October 10 to 12. The third list of shortlisted candidates will be published by October 17 and students will be given two days to secure admission starting from October 20 to 21.

Delhi University: Phase I of the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) or admission application process will end on October 10. Phase II will run from September 26 to October 10. The date of announcement of merit lists will be announced on October 10. it is yet to announce how many merit lists it will release.
Pondicherry University: Applications are currently open for CUET University admissions 2022. The provisional admission calendar has been released which includes the publication of the total merit list on 6th October. The second shortlist will be published on October 11, and the third on October 14. The academic year will begin on October 17.
University of Hyderabad: The application process for university admission is ongoing, the last date for submission of applications is 5th October at mgahvcuet.samarth.edu.in. The merit list announcement date is yet to be announced and will be announced in due course. Classes will start approximately on November 1.
Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University: Admission will be done solely on the basis of CUET (UG) scores. Candidates can register until September 30. The application fee for UR, OBC and EWS category is Rs.200 and for SC, ST category is Rs.100. The merit list for the courses will be prepared by a committee constituted for the purpose.
After the registration is completed, the university will announce the first round of merit list on October 10. Students will be required to submit the required fees to secure admission to the relevant course no later than October 15th. The second round of vacancies will be held from 17 to 31 October. The academic session will start from November 1.
Allahabad University: The registration process for admission has already started and will continue until October 10. The counseling process will take place from October 11 to November 4. The university will consider the normalized CUET score for admission and the academic session will start from November 10.
Viswa Bharati University: Online registration of candidates has started and the last date for submission of applications is October 10. After that, merit list, counseling and payment of admission fee will take place. The entire process will continue until October 31, and the academic session will start tentatively on November 1.
Assam University: Applicants may choose a maximum of two courses in separate applications. Admission is done on the basis of CUET scores only. There will be no separate reception, the university informed. The last date for applications is 14th November and the merit list will be released on 27th October. Reception – from October 28 to 31. Classes start on November 1.
Central Sanskrit University: First, candidates will have to submit documents for admission to the university. The deadline is September 26. After successful submission of the online application, the admissions committee will check the documents. Selected candidates will be informed by email about the fee to be paid online.
Admission will be done in three phases – in phase-1, admission will be given on the basis of merit to students who have qualified CUET UG successfully. It will end on September 26. Phase 2 admission will be given to those who registered/appeared for CUET UG but could not complete due to technical glitches and it will continue till 7th October. In Phase 3, admission will be open to all those who have not applied for CUET UG. The deadline for this stage is October 20.
