Dr. Agarwals ’eye hospitals, located in Chennai, have established their presence in the Trujgorod region by acquiring five eye hospitals, including 2 in Chandigarh, 2 in Panchkula and 1 in Mahal. These include the Mircia Laser Eye Clinic, the JP Eye Hospital and the Dr. Monica Eye Clinic, which have been eye care centers in the area for several years. The acquisition expanded Dr. Agarwals ’eye hospital presence to Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh, bringing the total number of existing centers across the country to 110.

Dr Omar Agarwals, chairman of Dr Agarwals ’eye hospital, said:“ We are very pleased that these five eye hospitals, which have been ranked among the best Tricity medical facilities, are now part of Dr Agarwals ’eye hospitals. North India, especially Punjab and Haryana, is a very important market for us because of the huge unmet demand for ultra-special eye care products and advanced capabilities in the treatment of eye diseases. As India’s leading eye hospital network, we are pleased to establish our presence in Chandigarh, Panchkula and Mohali, and are fully committed to offering the best care to our patients. We will provide the residents of Trinity with the latest technology for basic and advanced procedures, as well as diagnostic tests and the latest eye care operations on a par with international standards. ”

Dr Adil Agarwal, Director General of Dr. Agarwals Eye Hospital, said: “Expanding our presence at Trinity City by acquiring the best spectacle hospitals in the three cities is a significant milestone for us in our national expansion. Our ideology is to provide quality assistance to people and bring advanced technology to far-flung corners of the country. We have plans for aggressive growth, especially for North India and states like Punjab and Haryana. In the last 5 years alone, we have added more than 60 departments to our network and plan to double our current network of hospitals to more than 200 in the next 3-4 years. ”

To stimulate its expansion and deployment of the latest technology, the company recently raised more than Rs 1,000 crore from TPG Growth and Temasek as part of the country’s largest fundraiser in eye care.
