On the occasion of the second anniversary of the declaration of 17 May 2021, published for the World Day against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia (IDAHOBIT) and endorsed by 14 member states of the European Union (EU), France Salue the decision of Portugal and Slovenia to associate with this appeal to act more and in concert in favor of the rights of LGBTIQ persons in the EU and in the whole world.
In the context of a degradation of the protection of these rights and freedoms, the engagement of Portugal and Slovenia represents a new reason to reaffirm our fight to promote and defend the values on which the European Union is founded. par l’article 2 du Traité sur l’Union européenne.
