RRB-NTPC exams: As many candidates raise the question that their RRB-NTPC examination centers are far from their hometowns, Indian Railways has decided to launch more than 65 special trains across the country for the convenience of entrants who will appear for the May 9 and 10 exams.

Most of these trains will run on May 8 to help students get to the exam centers in the morning and then deliver them home after the exams. Students will have to pay for travel on special trains, and there will be no benefits, officials said.

“Indian Railways will run more than 65 special trains across the country for candidates for the RRB_NTPC exam to be held on May 9 and 10,” Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnov wrote on Twitter.

Some of these special trains will run between Gaya-Bhila, Samostypur-Kanpur, Selda-Guwahati, Jabalpur-Nanded, Darbhanga-Muzzafarpur, Agartala-Darbhanga, Agro-Kant., Patna, Veroval-Bandra, Jaipur Jaipur, Jaipur , Kakiknada in Kurnul, Kadapa-Rajmundra, Kakinada in Mysore, Kurnul-Masur, Narsapur-Secunderabad, Secunderabad in Ernakulam, Vijayawada-Nagarsol, Proegraj in Anandvihar, Jabalpur-Nizamudjin, Delhi-Delhi.

Other special trains that will run during this period are the Old Delhi Railway Station to Jodhpur, Shalimar – Vijayawada, Khatia – Vijayawada, Thiruvananthapuram – Chennai, Narsapur – Thiruvananthapuram, Mangalore – Hubli, Tirunelveli – Mysore, Mysore and Mysore, Hubli Eranakulam.


The Railway Employment Council (RRB) recently published on the official website at rrbcdg.gov.in a report on the 2022 Examination City of Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) RRB (CBT 2). The total number of candidates for the exams is 1,45,700 for 7,285 positions.

Among the candidates were many votes that they were allocated cities in remote areas and asked to change the centers.

The candidate, calling himself Tapas, wrote on Twitter: “I applied for the NTPC exam in Kolkata, but I was given a place on the Level 4 exam, CBT 2 on May 10 in Muzafarpur Bihar, which is 590 km from home in another state. This is an injustice for the contenders. Respect the work of students. “

Another contender, Subhik Biswas, demanded a change in the examination center. “Please change the examination center for RRB NTPC CBT 2. It is a humble request to relocate the examination center to everyone’s home state,” he tweeted.

Demand for the transfer of centers to the home state has flooded social networking sites.

“I’m from Karnataka. I applied for the Bangalore region. My city is the 2nd stage of the RRB ntpc exam – Kattayam, it is 900 km from my hometown. Please give a chance in my home state, “KN Hanumanta tweeted.

The RRB-NTPC exams were in the eye of a storm when applicants, specifically from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, took to the streets, claiming there were violations in the process.


For the convenience and benefit of candidates attending the 2nd stage of the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) exam, Western Railways has decided to launch a special train Jaipur – Indore and Reva – Rajkot.

Similarly, a special exam between Veraval and Bandra Terminusis is also being held with Veraval on Sunday, May 8 at 10.45, and with Bandra Terminus on Monday, May 9 at 21.45, as already reported.


Train № 09709 Jaipur – The special Indore exam will depart from Jaipur on Sunday, May 8, at 07.25 and arrive in Indore at 22.30 the same day.

Similarly train № 09710 Indore-Jaipur Exam Special will depart from Indore on Monday, May 9 at 21.00 and arrive in Jaipur at 12.30 the next day.

Along the route, this train will stop at Gandhinagar stations Jaipur, Dausa, Bandikui, Bharatpur, Bayana, Gangapur City, Sawai Madhopur, Kota, Ramganj Mandi, Nagda and Ujain in both directions. This train includes Sleeper class cars and general second class cars.


Train № 02194 Rewa – Rajkot Exam Special will depart from Rewa on Saturday, May 7, at 10.40pm and arrive in Rajkot at 00.45 on Monday.

Similarly train № 02193 Rajkot-Rewa Exam Special will depart from Rajkot on Monday, May 9 at 23.05 and arrive in Reva at 00.20 on Wednesday.

On the route this train will stop in Satna, Mayhar, Katni, Jabalpur, Narsingpur, Godarwar, Piparia, Itarsi, Hashangabad, Bhopal, Sant Hirdarom Nagar, Shujalpur, Ujjain, Nagda, Ratlam, Godhra, Andharan in both directions. This train consists of 1st AC cars, 2-level AC, 3-level AC, Sleeper class and general second class cars.

Today, May 7, at the PRS counters and on the IRCTC website began booking train number 09710/02193.


The Central Railway will run a special RRB train between Nagpur and Secunderabad.

Train № Special number 01203 will depart from Nagpur at 13.30 on 7 May and arrive in Secunderabad at 21.45 the next day.

Special number 01204 will depart from Secunderabad at 20.30 on 9 May and arrive in Nagpur at 05.00 on the third day.

STOP: Vardha, Dhamangaon, Badnera, Murtizapur, Akola, Shegaon, Malkapur, Bhusaval, Jalgaon, Manmad, Nashik Road, Kalyan, Panvel, Lonavala, Pune, Downd, Kurduvadi, Solapur, Kalaburagi, Wadi, Vikalabad.

COMPOSITION: 9 sleeping classes, 4 general second class, one generator van.

BOOKING: Reservations at 01203 for a special fee began on May 6 at all computerized booking centers and at www.irctc.co.in.
