The Indian Petroleum Corporation (IOCL) has invited graduates to apply for the positions of engineers and officers through GATE 2022. The company is also recruiting graduate engineers (GAE) in various disciplines. Applicants can apply online through the official IOCL website – iocl.com. The deadline for applications is May 22.
Candidates can apply for the positions of engineers and officers in various disciplines. Disciplines include chemical engineering, civil engineering, instrumentation, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, metallurgy, computer science and engineering.

IOCL Recruitment 2022: Eligibility Criteria
Educational qualification: To be eligible to apply, candidates must have a qualification in GATE 2022 in any of the disciplines mentioned in the advertisement. Applicants wishing to apply must have a BTech, BE or equivalent full-time diploma from universities recognized by AICTE or UGC. Applicants in the general OBC (NCL) / EWS category must score a minimum of 65 percent in the qualification degree, while the minimum percentage required to apply for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates is 55 percent. Those who have graduated or are studying MTech in any discipline are also eligible to apply.
Age restrictions: The upper age limit for applying for this position is 26 years for candidates in the General and EWS categories as of June 30, 2022.

IOCL Recruitment 2022: Selection Process
The initial selection of eligible candidates will be based on the scores they scored in GATE 2022. Candidates shortlisted will be required to appear for a group discussion (GD) followed by a group assignment (GT) and a personal interview. PI). The final list of merits will be prepared after the above stages of selection.
IOCL Recruitment 2022: Salary
Upon successful selection of candidates as engineers and officers, they will receive an initial basic salary of Rs 50,000 per month and will be included in a salary scale of Rs 50,000 to Rs 1,600,000. Candidates selected as Diploma Engineers (GAE) will be paid a monthly stipend depending on their performance.
