Registration for Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test starts from 26th November

Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan has released the notification for Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) 2022. Registration will start from 25th October and will continue till 7th November. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for Kerala TET October Session 2022 through the official website ktet .kerala.gov.in or at pareekshabhavan.kerala.gov.in.

KTET 2022 written exams will be held on November 26 and 27 in two shifts — the first from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm and the second from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm. Admit card 2022 will be released on November 21. In KTET there are two exams – one for junior primary classes, senior classes and the other for senior classes.

KTET conducts assessments in different categories — Category 1 is for classes 1 to 5, Category 2 is for classes 6 to 8, Category 3 is for classes 8 to 10 and Category 4 is for teachers of languages ​​including Arabic, Urdu , Sanskrit, Hindi (up to upper primary level), specialist teachers and physical education teachers.

KTET 2022: Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible to apply for the examination, candidates must have passed Class 12 or its equivalent with 45 percent marks along with a two-year Trained Teacher Certificate or TTC from the Examination Board. Those applying for the post of Senior Primary Teacher should have a Diploma in any stream with minimum 45 percent marks.

Step 5: Submit KTET Application Form. Download and print it for future reference.

KTET 2022: Exam Pattern

KTET 2022 will have a total of 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) carrying 1 mark each. Each exam will last two and a half hours. Each paper will carry 150 marks. For each correct answer according to the key, the candidate will be awarded one mark. There is no negative mark on the exam.
