The last date for payment of fees to Delhi University UG has been postponed to October 25

The last date for payment of admission fee for undergraduate programs of Delhi University after the first round of seat allotment has been extended by one day to October 25. Earlier, the last date for online payment of admission fee was October 24.

In a statement, University of Delhi Registrar Vikas Gupta said, “On the request of candidates and in view of Diwali celebrations, the last date for payment of fees by candidates has been extended to 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 25, 2022.”

The university said that candidates who do not pay the admission fees by Tuesday will not be able to participate in any subsequent Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) rounds.

“Only candidates who pay the admission fees for CSAS RoundI will be eligible for upgradation,” it said. More than 72,800 candidates out of 80,164 have accepted the college and course allotted to them in the first round of Delhi University seat allotment, Registrar Vikas Gupta said.

However, only around 24,000 filed their fees till Saturday 8 pm only, he told PTI. The University of Delhi said that the vacancy will be announced on Wednesday. “Candidates who have participated in the CSAS round can then select ‘Update’ and change their higher preferences from 10:00 AM, Wednesday, October 26, 2022 to 4:59 PM, Thursday, October 27, 2022,” — informed the university. In Delhi University, admissions to 79 undergraduate programs in 67 colleges, departments and centers are for the first time through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET).

Until last year, admissions were through merit lists based on class 12 marks, which have grown dramatically. Every year the university announced up to seven department lists.
