Law students of Delhi University staged a protest on Friday, alleging that more than 400 students were awarded zero out of 100 marks in an “attempt” to make them fail in their exams.

The protest was organized by the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP). A large number of students gathered and demonstrated outside the Law Faculty.

According to the students, the Faculty of Law, however, admitted that “there were some miscalculations” and assured that corrective measures would be taken.

The ABVP said that in the results published a few days ago, students were either given a zero or marked as “absent”.

Meanwhile, students said they were told that a new declaration of results would be made soon.
