The Uttarakhand State Information Department said on Monday that the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) has released the supplementary examination calendar for 23 examinations. Recently, the government issued an additional examination calendar for 23 group “B” examinations, which have been sent to the commission.

The UKPSC has reaffirmed its determination that all of the above exams will be held on time during 2022 and 2023. Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Chairman, Uttarakhand Public Service Commission, met the office staff to discuss the exam calendar. .

The Chairman was informed about the main annual examination calendar of the Ukrainian National Committee of the Ukrainian National People’s Republic of Ukraine published at the beginning of 2022 that it is planned to conduct 23 examinations specified in the said examination calendar of the commission, of which eighteen examinations have been successfully completed to date and the remaining five examinations will be conducted by the end of this year.

This includes the PCS Main Exam – 2021 which will be held from November 12 to 15, 2022 and another Forest Officer exam has been postponed.

Further action by the Commission in respect of Civil Judge (Junior Division), AE Examination, Assistant Public Prosecutor Examination, Assistant Professor Examination, Forester Examination and Geological Assistant Examination can only be taken in the light of the recent order of the Uttarakhand High Court in the context of horizontal reservation . The government will inform the commission while ensuring the reservation process.

The Chairman of the Commission also informed that about 29 applications received by the Commission for settlement of certain controversies related to the reservation have been returned to the Government and there will be a separate examination calendar after receipt of the revised applications from the Government. will be released and the exams will be held simultaneously. Currently, the process of revising the mentioned 29 requirements is underway at the state level.
