DU 2nd Merit List Date & Time: Today, October 25, is the last date for payment of Delhi University Merit List 1st Round Admission Fee. Now those who could not get a seat at all or not according to their preference in the first list will have options in the second list.
As per the schedule published by University of Delhi, the display of vacant seats, if any, will take place at 10:00 am on Wednesday, 26 October 2022. After that, candidates who have participated in the CSAS round can opt for ‘Update’ and re-apply order your higher benefits from 10:00 on Wednesday 26 October 2022 until 16:59 on Thursday 27 October 2022.
According to the schedule published at the beginning of the admission, the second merit list will be published on October 30, after which students will be able to book their seats. If any seats remain vacant, the third list will be published on November 10 and seats will be allotted on November 17 and 22 based on the seats left vacant.
So far in the first round, more than 72,800 candidates have accepted their college and course, but only about 24,000 submitted their fees till 8pm on Saturday. If the candidate fails to pay the fee and reserve the seat within the specified time, it will be available in the second list.
The number of seats in DU colleges is 70,000, but the university has allocated additional seats in unreserved (OBC-NCL and EWS) and reserved (SC, ST and PWBD) categories in the first list, taking the number to 80,164.
Under DU admission, there are 79 UG programs in 67 colleges, departments and centers. The programs include 206 undergraduate course combinations.
