Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has arrived in Hiroshima, Japan, to attend the start of the G7 or to meet the son of France’s Emmanuel Macron at the end of a bilateral meeting, according to diplomatic sources.

Vladimir Zelensky flew to Hiroshima from an airliner in France as part of discussions with Emmanuel Macron and “at the request of Ukraine,” according to a French diplomatic source.
Paris estime qu’il “faut se donner tous les moyens pour arrimer des États non aligned à la cause de la defense de la souveraineté et de l’integrity territoriale de l’Ukraine”, added this source.
According to her, il était à ce titre important que le président ukrainien puisses rendre au summit de la Ligue arabe, auquel il participi vendredi en Arabie soudite, et à celui du G7, auquel assisteront aussi dimanche de grandes puissances émergentes.
