The Council of the European Union accepted today sanctions against individuals and entities involved in the transfer and production of Iranian drones used by the Russian armed forces in Ukraine.
These measures consist of a ban on entering the territory of the European Union and a freeze on the financial assets of persons and entities listed.
These transfers constitute a violation of resolution 2231 of the Conseil de sécurité acceptée en 2015 et encadrant les transferts de missiles et de drons vers et depuis l’Iran. Nous demandons à l’Iran de cease immediately all forms of support for the war of aggression launched by Russia against Ukraine in violation of the fundamental principles of the Charter of the United Nations.
