The Delhi civic body conducts the intermediate skill exam in its schools

After the merger of the three erstwhile corporations, MCD schools conducted the first intermediate examination which ended on Saturday, the civic body said in a statement.

The Municipal Corporation of Delhi has conducted a skill-based intermediate examination for students in its schools to assess their competency level, a senior official said on Saturday. The inspection, which began a few days ago, ended on Saturday, he said.

“This is in line with our commitment to provide quality primary education and MCD is making all possible efforts to improve and enhance the standard of education in its schools,” the official said.

After the merger of the three erstwhile corporations, MCD schools conducted the first intermediate examination which ended on Saturday, the civic body said in a statement.

The three corporations were merged in May 2022. “Taking into account the learning outcomes, skill-based questionnaires were specially prepared for the exams. The purpose of Nipun Bharat was also focused in the questionnaires,” the statement said.

Besides, a mega parent meeting will be organized on October 28 to share the performance report of the students with their parents, the report said.
