Tesla renews the color range for the Model Y with two new colors for the models produced in the Gigafactory in Berlin.
The American manufacturer Tesla announces the arrival of two new colors in the color palette of its Model Y SUV. These two colors replace others in the catalog, and they concern only the models produced in the German factory of the brand, near de Berlin.
Thanks to the atelier de peinture de la Gigafactory de Berlin, Tesla can effectively propose new colors. The brand has designed this one to apply up to 13 layers of paint, offering more depth and pigments in the skin. Surprisingly, the base Model Y (in propulsion) does not have the right to these new colors for the moment.
Un rouge foncé profond et un gris argent métallisé
Le Model Y, dans ses variants Grande Autonomie et Performance, receives therefore une une uvelle couleur Midnight Cherry Red, un rouge foncé plus profond que le Rouge Multicouches qu’il replace. La nouvelle teinte Quicksilver est un gris Métallisé aux nuances plus claires (presque argenté) que le Gris Nuit Métallisé qu’il vient remplacer.
Ces nouvelles teintes sont déjà disponibles à la commande et visis sur le configuratoreur ligne de la marque. Les Tesla Model Y painted in the latest Quicksilver (€3,000) seront livrés avant la fin de l’année, tandis que les livraisons d’exemplaires peints en Midnight Cherry Red (€3,200) débuteront in 2023.
