On the stand of Peugeot at the Mondial de l’Auto 2022, il n’y a pas que des voitures destinées à la route. The space dedicated to the French manufacturer effectively accommodates the Peugeot 9X8, the car entered by the Lion in endurance as well as the 24 Heures du Mans in 2023.

The editorial staff of Autonews was able to approach this Peugeot 9X8 during the first day of the Mondial de l’Auto 2022, as evidenced by our images taken on the spot. To recall, the 9X8 is equipped with a V6 2.6 biturbo engine of 680 horsepower, coupled with an electric motor of 200 kW, or around 272 horsepower. La puissance est transmise aux quatre roues via une boîte sequentielle à sept rapports.

Il faut attendre les 24 Heures du Mans 2023 pour voir la Peugeot 9X8 evolve sur piste en France. Notably piloted by Jean-Eric Vergne, Mikkel Jensen and Paul Di Resta, the 9X8 has a mission to succeed the Peugeot 905 and Peugeot 908.
The Peugeot 9X8 is on public display at the Mondial de l’Auto, from 17 to 23 October 2022, at the Parc des expositions Paris Expo de la Porte de Versailles, à Paris.
